Ahmer Ali Rizvi is a passionate Wildlife Explorer from Karachi having special interest in migratory birds and wildlife. He has been exploring wildlife for more than 25 years from coastal expanse to the upland wetlands and in mountain range of Sindh province. Having seen uncontrolled and imprudent hunting and poaching of wild birds and animals in rural areas of the province, he kicked off awareness campaigns in print media to disseminate the importance of wildlife back in the era of mid 90s. Focused precisely on making people aware of the importance of a healthy ecosystem, he started wildlife photography and filming on particular subjects of his interest. Sindh, having been his main area of access and concern to protect depleting wildlife in that particular region, he formed Sindh Wildlife Club, a company of like-minded people to work on awareness project. He is also a founder member of Birdwatcher’s Club of Pakistan. So far he has made a numerous short documentaries on various wildlife subjects. One the most famous of his portfolio is about Sindh Ibex of Kirthar National Park. His documentaries are available to watch on Sindh Wildlife Club youtube channel.
